Snakeskin Texture Roller
Create a striking snakeskin effect in clay with this deeply textured roller from Pott’r.
The roller produces a realistic, reptile-inspired pattern with plenty of depth and definition, adding an interesting tactile surface to your pottery.
Ideal for rolling across clay slabs, decorating handbuilt pieces or adding texture directly to thrown pots while they're still on the wheel.
The deep pattern makes it particularly effective for creating bold surface designs that can be further enhanced with glazes, oxides and other decorative finishes.
Key features:
Deep, detailed texture – creates a distinctive snakeskin pattern with strong definition.
Versatile application – suitable for slab work, handbuilding and wheel-thrown pottery.
Decorate thrown forms – roll directly onto the surface of cylinders, bowls and other thrown pieces.
Enhance with glaze – the raised and recessed pattern creates opportunities for contrasting colours and finishes.
