The Pott'r custom potter’s mark service is designed to give your work a clear, consistent signature. Send over your design and it will be turned into a stamp with a hand-held post, making it easy to use and position on your work.
The stamp is made to capture the detail of your design as cleanly as possible. Two sizes are included as standard (you choose the sizes), so you can use the mark across different pieces.
Choosing your option
Select ‘Own design provided’ if you already have a finished black-and-white design that’s ready to use.
If you’re working from a sketch, photo, or just an idea, choose ‘Description only’. This covers the time needed to turn your idea into a clean, workable design. It can be as rough or as precise as you like—just send it over and it will be developed into a usable mark.
Sizes
Sizes are flexible. As a guide, very simple designs can be made as small as around 7mm. More detailed designs will be sized to keep the lines clear.
The standard maximum is 30mm. Larger sizes are possible if needed (a small additional charge may apply).
If you make work in a range of sizes, you can choose the 4-size option. This includes a set from the smallest workable version up to your chosen maximum, with two sizes in between.
Once you’ve selected your options, you’ll be able to add notes with your size preferences and any other details.
