This is the larger version of the Floral Meadow 2 roller, with a wider 225mm format and deeper pattern.

The design has variation in depth across the surface, which helps create areas for glaze to settle into the lower parts of the texture. It also gives space to work into the pattern if you want to add colour to individual areas.

The pattern repeats in both directions, so it can be used across a slab without visible joins, making it suitable for larger pieces.

It works well for plates and wider forms where you want the surface to carry the detail.

Please note: rollers may arrive in different colours, and some variation can occur across the roller itself. This has no effect on the clay impression.

Tip: If your clay is still quite wet rather than leather hard, a light dusting of cornflour on the surface can help prevent sticking. This will burn off during firing.
